HELPING POOR WIDOWS

The most precious thing in the life of a woman is her husband. She offers worship, observes fasts and makes all efforts to ensure his long life. When the iron blow of destiny snatches away from her the most precious part of her life i.e. her husband, she almost goes out of senses and finds her life worthless. Her agony increases manifold when she finds that her husband was the only earning member in the family. These widows are required to be helped for such time till their children are grown up and start earning or their economic conditions improve due to other factors like re-marriage etc.

In view of the above, with the blessings of Paramhans Santji, we have been extending a helping hand to these helpless widows by providing monthly financial help.

MONTHLY RATION TO POOR FAMILIES

Ration is provided to poor families who have no financial resources or whose sole family member is incapacitated. They are provided the fixed quantity of grocery, flour, rice, oil, and other edible material to run their lives.

MEDICAL HELP TO THE POOR AND NEEDY PATIENTS

Under this activity, Jeev Sewa Sansthan provides help to the poor and needy patients in the following ways: -

• Help for the medicines, pathological / diagnostic tests, treatment for various diseases which involve hospitalization etc.
• Help for undergoing major surgery for various dreaded diseases viz. Valve Replacement, By-pass surgery, open heart surgery, kidney transplantation, Cancer, Bone Marrow Transplantation for Thalassaemia Major Children, Providing of Hearing Aids, etc.

HELP FOR THE HIGHER STUDIES

The education upto senior secondary and graduation level is being looked after by our sister organization, Nav Yuvak Parishad. For higher education in Engineering, Medical, Advance Computer Courses, Fashion Designing, Chartered Accounting, Business Administration etc.

Jeev Sewa Sansthan, with the support of well wishers across the world, has been providing financial help to the poor but meritorious students.

HELP FOR LAST RITES

Jeev Sewa Sansthan, understanding the emotions of bereaved family, started this activity in year 2007 i.e. providing financial help for the last rites to the poor families who cannot afford the expenses.

HELPING VICTIMS/GOVERNMENT AT THE TIME OF NATURAL CALAMITIES/NATIONAL EMERGENCIES

Help is extended by us during national contingencies like War, Tsunami, Cyclone, Flood, Earthquake etc. Besides the natural disasters, help is also extended for victims of the disasters caused by man, like bomb blasts in year 2008 in Jaipur (Rajasthan).

JSS, with the help received from the philanthropic network spread across the world, puts up efforts to rehabilitate victims of such disasters.

HELP TO POOR GIRLS FOR MARRIAGE

We provide help to the poor families for marriages of their daughters. Under this scheme free gift items pertaining to marriage ceremony and cash are provided.
