Probably, I was 18 when my father took me to Bairagarh, Bhopal saying that I need to see a Saint, with whom my family has been associated from the days of my grandfather. But as a teenager, I could not realize any purpose of visit, except to accompany my father. Meantime, in the year 1972, I got employment in Japan and, since then, decided to be involved with various activities of Jeev Sewa Santhan, the institution initiated by this holy Saint. Having reached to this age, I have same kind of inner peace and satisfaction that because of his blessings, I was able to find the path of helping poor and needy people from the very young age of my life. Today, I would have been regretting for the last opportunity of not knowing this path if I would not have come across this Holy Saint, Paramhans Hirdaram Sahib.

I had visited Bhopal couple of times and amazed to see the efforts of volunteers, who are serving the suffering humanity selflessly and tirelessly. We brothers (myself and H.G. & V.G.) made one school- “MITHI GOBINDRAM PUBLIC SCHOOL”- in the memory of our parents. The education given & human values inculcated in the children are beyond description. 100% result, with outstanding performance of the children. This school is one of the Top Most schools of that area. We feel happy & proud to have taken right decision of making school being run successfully with the blessings of Paramhans Santji and Rev. Siddh Bhauji.

Though all round development of the society- Education, Health and Hygiene for all, Employment for self reliance and Sanskar is today’s need but, to me, making everyone self-reliant and develop the confidence in them is the real Sewa. If we complete this Sewa successfully we will be blessed not only by the person but also his whole family. And, I found my this thought being materialized in letter and spirit at Sant Hirdaram Nagar through Jeev Sewa Sansthan.

Sant Nagri (Bhopal) has proved the reality of how a little act of kindness can change the world. Myself and my wife, Samara are fortunate enough to have this opportunity to help improve the lives of others by supporting the education of the less fortunate. It is our cherished desire that we inspire more people of younger generation to volunteer and help others as their social responsibility.

I and all my family members have been associated with the “Shewa Karyas” of Jeev Sewa Sansthan for more than two decades. I am pleasantly surprised to see the “Nishkam Sewa” that the volunteers of Jeev Sewa Sansthan are doing for the downtrodden section. We are only able to help them in performing the Sewa. In fact, they are the real heroes of the society. I pray at the lotus feet of Paramhand Santji to further enable me to serve the less-privileged masses with more vigour, zeal & enthusiasm.

Working with the volunteers of Jeev Sewa Sansthan and Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital has been a pleasant experience for me. They have shown me the true spirit of giving without expecting anything in return. The gratitude in the eyes of the patients after urology camps is a reward that one can cherish for a long time.

It was an honour for me to visit Jeev Sewa Sansthan in Sant Hirdaram Nagar. What a beautiful Oasis of human service! I was impressed by the wide range of services that are being rendered here and the countless lives that are being benefitted forever. They are actually practicing what our scriptures teach us, “Serving Humanity is like worshipping the Lord”.

On my couple of visits to Bhopal I witnessed the benevolent activities of Jeev Sewa Sansthan and immediately remembered my Gurudev H.H. Pujya Ganmgeshwaranandaji Maharaj who used to say, “uplifting the downtrodden is the greatest service to mankind.” Under the able guidance of Pujya siddh Bhauji, the selfless volunteers of JSS work tirelessly and passionately to provide relief and comfort to the underprivileged.

All of us are really fortunate enough to have the blessings of H. H. Santji and Rev. Siddh Bhauji. It is our duty to fulfill their wishes, which are ultimately meant for our own welfare. Blessings & compliments to all the volunteers of Jeev Sewa Sansthan working tirelessly and selflessly for noble cause.

Those who always think for welfare of others and sooth their sufferings, the Almighty always redresses all their griefs, making their lives sublime and radiant. I admire & respect the selfless service rendered by the volunteers of Jeev Sewa Sansthan & its sister organizations dedicated for welfare of poor brethren & upliftment of the less-privielged sections of the society. I truly feel happy to be associated with JSS.

How to put in words the opportunities that have come our way since having associated with His Holiness Sant Hirdaram Sahibji! Words can’t express as to how fortunate we feel to be a tiny part of Sant Hirdaram’s dream! We pray Lord to make JSS to be able to live upto dream of Santji, to serve humanity as a team, to give love to those who need it the most, through deeds of kindness as our beloved taught, to help the one closet to His heart.

My association with Paramhans Santji grew stronger when I found late Dada Vikyomal Shroff, one of the affectionate followers of Santji, helping for the benevolent activities. And, when I and the members of my family came to know more about these activities and their soothing impact on the society, my head bowed down in devotion, dedication and reverence before him.

“By giving, actually we receive! Directly we receive, the blessings; to whom we give! But indirectly, we receive the grace! With that grace we receive for greater than what we gave! The Almighty is considering us worthy of receiving His grace and keeps sending us more and more of His grace but the point is we should not slow our pace or forget giving. So let us give and keep giving. “ We are grateful to God that He has blessed us by sending their sons in the form of Sadhu T. L. Vaswani, Paramhans Sant Hirdaram Sahib and Pujya Dada J. P. Vaswani to guide us, to love us, to bless us.

We live in troubled times, dreading to read the headlines every morning, wherein we only find heart-rending bad news, countless people dying of starvation, being rendered homeless due to natural calamities and being senselessly slain in wars which nobody understands. We can only take solace and refuge from the selfless service that Jeev Sewa Sansthan carries out, Inspired by Paramhans Sant Hirdaram Sahib. When we see that people can indeed sacrifice their time, energy and money solely to help others, without expecting anything in return, we are reminded that God created us for a reason. Those of us who are fortunate to be sheltered from the storm of these misfortunes have a duty to perform towards those less fortunate than ourselves. We at IWCA (India Women’s Charity Association of Madrid), are just trying with our efforts to thank God for being so kind to us. We only wish that our efforts could relieve the sufferings of more needy people. We hope and pray that more people may join hands to end the suffering of so many afflicted souls.
