ACTIVITIES

SEWA SADAN EYE HOSPITAL TRUST (Since 1978)

It is a registered public Trust and has been running following hospitals/other units to cater to the medical needs of the poor masses, in particular.

SEWA SADAN EYE HOSPITAL (Since 1987)

Objectives: to provide all types of eye treatment in local and rural areas (through free eye camps).

Set up in 1987, after the worst industrial tragedy, popularly known as Bhopal Gas Tragedy, as the most affected part of the body was eye.
A hospital, centrally located, equipped with modern, sophisticated instruments & air-conditioned operation theatre having skilled eye surgeons & other staff.
Ordinary cataract removal operation, lens implantation, Keratoplasty (Cornea Transplantation) & treatment connected to almost all the eye diseases like Glaucoma, Squint, Occuloplasty, Low vision, Retina & Pediatric Eye Care at reasonable charges.
Eye Bank with facility of Specular Microsocope, Leminar Air Flow.
Associated with Hyderabad Eye Bank Association & Eye Bank Association of Kerela and Govt. of India (Ministry of Health & Family Welfare) under World Bank Project, HelpAge India, New Delhi, Japanese Consulate (Mumbai), Govt. of Japan, Wilde Ganjzen (The Netherlands), Rotary International, The Foundation Lions Workgroup against Blindness, Care & Share International Limited (UK)
Quarters for Doctors and paramedical staff to stay at one point for better co- ordination and easy availability, in case of need
The hospital has NABH accreditation
The hospital is associated with various national and international institutions such as National Programme for Control of Blindness, Vision 2020: The Right to Sight- India, Sightsavers, CBM, Help Age India, HelpMeSee, IAPB- Seva Foundation and IDFC

ISHWARIBAI BUXANI POST OPERATIVE CARE CENTRE

Objective –:To provide lodging and boarding facilities to the poor eye patients operated in free eye and urology camps.

Constructed for providing pre & post operative care to the poor camp patients.
Two- storeyed building with lift facility.
200 bedded facility for lodging & boarding of the patients.
Separate wards for male and female patients.
Vast kitchen on ground floor for providing food to the camp patients.

DADA ATMARAM BADLANI UROLOGY DIAGNOSTIC & RESEARCH CENTER (Since 1996)

Objective –: To perform expensive urology operations of the poor, free of charge, in the camps.

Set up in the memory of Dada Atmaram Badlani, beloved uncle of Dr. Gopal Badlani, renowned urologist of USA.
Situated in the premises of Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital.
Renowned urologists of USA & others from various parts of the country render honorary services in the camps.

INDIRA HOTCHAND LALWANI CHARITABLE HOSPITAL (since 2004)

Objective –:To provide multi-specialty treatment for various diseases and to conduct free urology camps.

Situated near Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital sharing synergy for free eye and other camps viz. Urology, ENT, Dental, General Medical, Skin Disease, Plastic Surgery, Pediatric Cardiology, Diabetes, Arthritis, Squint etc.
Magnanimous two-storeyed building with three well equipped major and one minor operation theatre.
X-Ray, pathology, sonography and physician services.
Multi super specialty diagnosis through Polyclinic from single platform for various diseases related to skin, heart, lungs, psychiatry, diabetes, gastroenterology, ENT, pediatric, nephrology, urology & gynecology.
Operations for free eye camps are also performed in the hospital.
Dedicated and selfless service by volunteers, children & other citizens, being rendered to the poor patients in the camps.
KAMLA ROOPCHAND GIDOOMAL MEMORIAL DENTAL CLINIC & LEKHRAJ & KALA LADHARAM MIRPURI DENTAL CLINIC Both the above Dental Clinics are equipped with modern instruments, run by proficient dentist/surgeon.
Full fledged Retina Clinic with facilities of Laser & Endiography.
ENT Clinic.
Pathology lab with all latest diagnostic machines.

Jeev Sewa Sansthan was formed as an Apex organization in 1994, with an objective to co-ordinate all the benevolent activities of the different social organizations functioning as per the Service Philosophy of the Saint and receive donations for general or specific projects/activities. It is a public Trust, managed by a Board of Trustees who are staunch followers of Parmahans Santji.
