Sister organizations & their activities

[a]. Free Education to poor meritorious students:

• Every year a good number of new poor children are adopted in addition to the already adopted ones for providing free facilities like – text books, notebooks, stationery, uniforms, school fees, woolen clothes etc. These students reside in their own houses and study in the schools of their choices.
• Free coaching is provided to the adopted students in Radha-Manghan Bhawan- annexe of Nav Yuvak Parishad building and Swami Vivekanand Career Academy to strengthen their academics.
• With excellent examination results, many students have become successful in medical, engineering, banking and administrative fields.

[b]. Free Water Supply :

• Over 100 deep bore–wells have been drilled and taps connected to them, providing free drinking water.
• Water provided daily at pre-intimated timings.
• Water is provided through tankers also.
• Over-head tanks have been constructed in villages to avoid disruptions due to irregular supply of electricity.
• With bore-wells & tap connections entire township, Gandhinagar (a nearby suburb) & surrounding villages are covered to benefit more than 5 Lac population.

[c]. Ration to the poor families :

• The families of fatherless children who are adopted by Nav Yuvak Parishad, are provided monthly ration.
• Monthly ration is also provided to old and infirm people who have no source of income and whose family members do not look after them properly.

[d]. Medical Help:

• Families of the poor students adopted by the Parishad are provided medicinal help so that the students do not lag behind as regards their study is concerned.
• Other poor families are also provided medicinal help, as per need.
• Medical Cases involving large expenses are referred to Jeev Sewa Sansthan.

[a]. KISHNIDEVI-TOPANDAS CHANGRANI SEWING CENTRE:

• Adopted students of Nav Yuvak Parishad are provided training at nominal/free charges while poor youngsters and widows are trained at concessional fees.
• Recognition / affiliation– various institutions like DOEACC Society, National Institute of Open Schooling, (Government of India, New Delhi), Woman & Child Welfare Deptt., Makhanlal Univerity of Journalism have been granted to the centre.
